I’ve studied with top doctors, nutritionists and researchers at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition where I became a Certified Health Coach. I learned over 100 leading dietary theories from top researchers, doctors and nutritionists including Joshua Rosenthal, Dr. Joel Fuhrman, Dr, Mark Hyman, Bernie Siegel MD, Dr. Susan Blum, Dr Frank Lipman, Dr. Andrew Weil, Dr. Christiane Northrup, Deepak Chopra, David Wolfe, Dan Buettner, Mastin Kipp, Christine Hassler, and many more. I’m also a Certified Personal Trainer and Gym Instructor. I grew up in Barcelona. I’ve also lived in various cities such as Paris, London, Munich, Zurich, Miami, and New York.
I am a certified holistic health coach, specializing in nutritional and lifestyle counseling for busy women. My mission is to help and inspire clients to follow their intuition, heal themselves, and cultivate a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
My story
I believe in having a good laugh. Laughter is always the best form of medicine. I appreciate authenticity, in myself and others. Food is my medicine, a perfect bite of nutritious food exudes both warmth and pleasure, and nourishes every cell in my body. I love to dance. Music and regular movement are vital to my life and uplifting to my spirit. I enjoy taking time off to slow down, to be grateful, and to reconnect with my inner self. But it wasn’t always this way.
Many years ago, I was feeling quite lost and disillusioned with my creative career. I was grateful for the opportunities I was offered, photographing for glossy magazines and designing for fancy advertising agencies & exciting Internet start-ups. However, as is quite common, I was focused more on success than my own health & wellbeing. Long hours in front of computers left me feeling disconnected from my body. Though I was eating what I thought was healthily, I often felt tired and stressed. On the outside it seemed like I had it all together, but on the inside I was miserable.
During a particularly difficult time in my life, I had a wake up call that life was too precious and I had to make a change. Feeling at my lowest low was the foundation for me to start my new journey. I decided it was time to wave goodbye to the work world as I knew it. The time had come to follow a new path.
I decided to take a trip to Ubud in Bali, a place I dreamed of visiting for a long time, as a retreat and a place to reflect. Surrounded by inspirational people and beautiful landscapes, made all the little pieces of my life fall together like a puzzle- it all made sense. I knew I was ready.
I had to explore how to get that glow, that health, that inner happiness, that energy back. And I did so, by embarking on a year-long journey with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. A journey that joined me with a new tribe of like-minded thinkers that also wanted to “fit out”.
I began to experience joy again and found a new life purpose through slowly transforming my lifestyle. I replaced any processed foods with nourishing, nutrient-rich whole foods. I began experimenting in the kitchen and learning how to cook more plant-based recipes. I started dancing frequently again and meditating regularly. Through self-discovery and seeking out my purpose, I found the real me again.
This new journey has offered me lovely opportunities, working with some exciting brands in the nutrition and wellness industry, such as Whole Foods, Planet Organic, As Nature Intended, Macacha, Vevolution… where I have learned valuable information about nutrition and holistic medicine from some of the best in the industry. I also embarked on a fitness adventure, by becoming a certified personal trainer, which allowed me to dig into anatomy books and discover how movement is essential to good health.
Along the way, I was inspired to explore the deeper connection between body, mind, and spirit, which led me to become a yoga teacher. Through this experience, I learned how the power of breath, mindfulness, meditation, and asanas can work together to nourish not just our physical health but our spiritual well-being, helping us find balance and harmony in our lives.
With all this knowledge I have acquired my plan is not to keep it to myself, but to share it openly with all of you, to help anyone who wishes to learn more about nutrition and well-being, and to share my inspirations with you.
